How does advertising work?

The Android version uses Yandex Mobile Ads. Watching an ad is optional: get 100 coins in the wardrobe, increase a delivery reward, or take an available consolation bonus. There are no purchases and no requirement to watch an ad to continue playing. Ad availability depends on your connection and the ad service.

How are languages selected?

On a new Android installation, Russian is selected for a Russian device language; other device languages use English. You can change the language in Settings. Your explicit choice is saved.

Courier 404 privacy information

The core game does not require an account. Progress, coins, settings and personal records are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to the studio merely by playing offline.

Optional online leaderboard

If you choose to participate, the game creates a profile with a random display name and an identifier. It sends completed room numbers, times, outfit and parcel selections to calculate your records. Your display name and results are public. A secret access key stays on your device. The studio server receives your IP address to handle the connection and limit abusive requests. The leaderboard does not ask for your email, password, contacts or advertising identifier.

Leaderboard records are hosted on the studio's Yandex Cloud infrastructure and remain in the working database until you delete the profile. Data travels over HTTPS. The leaderboard is a friendly competition without cash prizes.

Advertising services

The Android app includes Yandex Mobile Ads and AppMetrica components. These services may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, device and app information, diagnostics and crash data to provide and measure advertising and technical services. Ads may be loaded before you decide to watch one. Location tracking is disabled by the game, and it does not request location, camera, microphone or contacts permissions. The game does not grant consent to personalized advertising on your behalf.

See Yandex's privacy policy for its processing and data-rights procedures. Choosing not to watch an ad does not necessarily prevent all technical SDK requests. You can play the core game offline.

Contacting support

If you email us, we receive your address and the information you include so that we can answer your request. Send only information needed to explain the issue. Contact the same address for privacy questions or requests concerning data held by the studio.

CONTROL YOUR RECORDS

Delete your Courier 404 online profile

In the game, open Records → My entry → Delete entry and confirm. This removes your public profile and its associated results from the leaderboard's working database. Your local progress and coins stay on your device.

You can also request deletion without reinstalling the game: email support@creakyvillage.ru with the subject “Courier 404 profile deletion”. Include the public courier name and any non-secret details that help identify your entry. Support will explain how to establish ownership and confirm the outcome. A public name alone is not proof of ownership; we cannot safely remove someone else's record on that basis.

Do not email passwords or your secret profile key. This procedure concerns the studio leaderboard. For information processed independently by Yandex advertising services, use the contacts and rights procedures in Yandex's privacy policy. Uninstalling the game alone does not delete a previously created online profile.
